The season's theme of "the eye" (眼) is rendered in inkjet print on the reverse side of 8oz denim, creating a haunting, layered visual that reveals itself only to those who look closely. The jacket's construction is equally radical: button fastenings run from the left shoulder to the sleeve cuff, and from the right side seam to the underarm, allowing the garment to be opened and worn in multiple configurations. The right lapel is a peaked lapel; the left, a notched lapel — a deliberate asymmetry that is pure Yohji. An extraordinarily rare piece, unused and in pristine condition.
